I bought these back in August and ended up rehoming my chickens because of work, I didn’t have enough time for them anymore.
Chick season is upon us once again so instead of waking up at the crack of dawn everyday to let your chickens out just set a time you want the door to open and close and it’ll-do it for ya!
It is NOT solar powered you do need to plug it into an outlet.
I have not had any issues with it or chickens/ducks crushed by it when they were in my coops.
All the hardware I set it up comes with it.
